Directions
1. In bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Cut in shortening until crumbles. Slowly add milk, until ball of dough forms. Let set.
2. In saucepan, bring syrup and water to a boil. Then, pour into 11 X 7 pan.
3. Drop dough by spoonfuls into pan.
4. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes. Or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
5. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream. Yummy!

2. Scoop fresh snow or shaved ice into a bowl.
3. Drizzle the syrup over the snow.
4. Wait a couple of minutes. The syrup will harden enough to pick up with a fork and melt in your mouth.
(You are eating the syrup only....not the snow!)
